Raleigh Sai Center in collaboration with HSNC began recycling small batteries by providing a recycling bin in high traffic areas in 2 facilities. The batteries are collected year round and disposed in the county hazardous materials handling recycling facility. So far more than 60 pounds of batteries were collected. Recently, this was expanded to recycling CFL’s.
